I am a researcher, interaction designer, and user experience leader. My passion is uncovering and solving problems, effectively and creatively, in order to create enjoyable and compelling user experiences. Through a toolbox of techniques, I listen, observe, probe, and look for opportunities where design can make a difference for users and for the business. I enjoy working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to truly make an impact.
Currently, I’m a user experience principal consultant and national lead at Neudesic, working with clients who are revolutionizing the hospitality and healthcare industries. On the side, I teach usability and interaction design courses, most recently at the University of Washington. Before I started consulting in 2008, I managed a UX team at T-Mobile, responsible for research and design of mobile applications. I studied at the University of Washington, where I received my BS and MS in Human-Centered Design & Engineering.
